The Jona s Brothers, Nick, Joe and Kevin, released their fourth studio album Lines, Vines and Trying Times on June 16, 2009, and the album debuted at Number One on the charts. (The album was bumped by the new Black Eyed Peas album.)  The Jonas Brothers are now out on a world tour promoting Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Jonas Brothers fans can still catch them on their 2009 tour in cities like Milwaukee, Chicago, Washington DC and Boston.

So what’s new with the Jonas Brothers? There is one less single brother! Kevin Jonas and his fiancée Danielle Deleasa celebrated their engagement over the 4th of July weekend in Los Angeles with a pizza party. Does that sound a little dull? Well the couple followed up the party with a shopping spree in Toronto at Channel, Louis Vuitton and Holt Renfrew. Kevin Jonas must be a hopeless romantic. He helped to design the engagement ring for Danielle that is made up of a 3-carat diamond with 210 pave diamonds. That’s a whole lot of bling for the new Mrs. Jonas! No wedding date is set yet, but stay tuned. And don’t worry, there are still two Jonas Brothers left to wed. Joe is age 20 and Nick is almost 17 so it’ll be a few years before the remaining single Jonas Brothers decide to tie the knot. (Kevin is not quite 22 years old…)

From reading the Jonas Brothers biography on their website, it sounds like they really got their start from their musical dad, Kevin Jonas Sr., who is also the Jonas Brothers manager. We also have to give props to Denise Jonas, the mom of the Jonas Brothers who home schooled her boys and contributed genetically to their overall attractiveness. (Let’s face it, if the Jonas Brothers looked like the Three Stooges they would not be quite as popular with teenagers and tweens all over the world.)

While the Jonas Brothers have become international celebrities and have earned millions with their music and records, they have also given back philanthropically. In 2007 the Jonas Brothers started a non-profit called the Change for Children Foundation, which gives money to the American Diabetes Association and St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Nick Jonas was diagnosed with diabetes at age 13 and is a Bayer Diabetes Care ambassador to help educate other children about maintaining diabetes.

So the summer of 2009 is not over yet for the Jonas Brothers. Check out their Lines, Vines and Trying Times tour coming soon to a United States city near you!
