Computers are not incredibly expensive these days, but well equipped PC’s from major manufacturers such as Dell or Alienware can run into the thousands of dollars depending on the options installed. One educational and thrifty way to get more computer for less money is to avoid the big box stores and instead build a computer from the individual components. While this may seem scary to some people, in reality building a computer is not incredibly difficult to do for anyone with reasonable dexterity and attention to detail. For those with the courage and desire to do so building a computer can be a personally rewarding experience.
Building A Computer- The Computer’s Parts
Without exception, every computer must have several specific components in order to function. These components are:
