How many times have you woken up from a night out and realized you had dark circles the size of half dollars around your eyes?  So what is a woman to do? Try these helpful tips below from Woman’s Day magazine.

Where to start?

Make sure you have the right tools before you begin. You’ll need the following:

  1. Choose a concealer one shade lighter than your natural skin tone.
  2. Pick a champagne colored eyeshadow. Try L’Oreal’s Golden Sunset.
  3. Pick up a white eyeliner. You can pick one up pretty cheaply. I would recommend checking out Wet n’ Wild.
  4. Choose a highlighter, not the marker type. Woman’s Day recommends e.l.f.’s highlighter. If you purchase this item it also comes with a concealer on the other end, so you get two items for the price of one.
  5. Get a good eye curler and mascara.

Applying the products.

  1. First, apply the concealer using your ring finger. Gently pat it around your eye to help cover up the darkness and even out your skin tone.
  2. Take your champagne eyeshadow and apply it over the entire lid of your eye.
  3. Take your white eyeliner and start at the inner corner of your eye and drag it up on the top and bottom, but only to where your eyelashes start.
  4. Apply your highlighter to the bridge of your nose and outer corner of your eyes. Make sure to blend it into your temples so you’ll keep that even look.
  5. As your final step, make sure to curl your eyelashes and apply your mascara. Now you’re done!

If you want to make sure your make-up stays put, make sure to purchase water-proof products. The only catch is that they can REALLY stay put. So make sure to get a good make-up remover and you should be good to go. Now that you have your tools and tips, you’re ready to face the world and you won’t have to worry about those annoying dark circles all day.
