Here are a few easy to find things that can round out your spring and summer wardrobe.
- Tank Tops. For summer, you can not have too many tank tops. Luckily most tank tops are fairly cheap. Layer them, wear them over you swimming suit, and wear them with shorts, skirts or pants. Some of my favorite tank tops are from Old Navy.
- Light button up top. I cute light button top will go nicely alone, or over a tank top. Try this cute embroidered top at Kohl's. It can be worn out to a nice dinner or even to work.
- A line skirt. A line skirts are very flattering on most figures. The key is to get the right length. For most women it is at the knee, just below or just above the knee. If the a line skirt is too long you might look matronly and too short is often not very flattering and too revealing when bending over. Check out this adorable summery skirt from Ann Taylor!
- Strappy heels. Strappy heels makes a summer outfit just a little more sexy. These strappy basket weave wedge heels at Victoria Secret are a great weekend shoe. The beautiful feminine pink ones are my favorite. These strappy brown patent leather shoes are sexy but definitely appropriate for work and a night out.
- Flip flops- Flips flops are the ultimate summer shoe. Luckily they are inexpensive and come in tons of fabulous, out fit matching colors. Old Navy has a huge collection of great flip flops. They have so many colors and patterns that are extremely affordable. You could have one pair of shoes for every day of the week!
Tip- Pamper yourself a pedicure before shopping for those strappy shoes or flip flops. Then you won't be distracted by your unpolished feet.
- Summer dresses. A simple summer dress like this one from urban outfitters is a versatile addition to any wardrobe. Pick a flattering color and shape for your figure and skin tone. Get several styles and you could wear them almost anywhere!
