You do not have to look like a slob at the gym. It is not hard to look nice and you will not have to spend hours before hand prepping or spend huge amounts of money on designer sweatpants either. Just follow these simple rules and never be embarrassed to be spotted at the gym again. If you put all of your “getting ready for the gym” supplies together in a bin or basket that will make getting ready faster. Here is what you will need.

Body spray. my favorite is any scent from the brand The Healing Garden. The Healing Garden line can be found at most drug stores. Spray your skin and clothing. Smelling good at the gym is important.

Mouthwash. Quick rinse is good to do right before your workout. The minty flavor and scent will make you feel fresher and more awake too.

Deodorant without antiperspirant. While you do not want to smell bad sweating is very detoxifying. Save the antiperspirant for after your shower.

Moisturizer with sunscreen. Whether you work out outside or inside at the gym, you will at the very least be exposed to the sun walking to and from your car. If you use any exfoliating treatments before bed your skin is very vulnerable and exposed in the morning. Protect it even if you are in the sun for only a short time.

Lip gloss or chap stick. This will polish your whole look. If you like find a chap stick with a little shimmer or a hint of color.

Refillable water bottle. There is no reason to keep hordes of bottle waters all over your house when all you need is a cute refillable water bottle. It tells the world that you care about the planet too.

You will probably need headbands and/or hair scrunchies. You do not have to get a new one to match with every outfit. Just try to get hair accessories to match your hair color as closely as possible.
