If you like a comfortable and relaxing look, the bohemian style is for you. Some may say this look is considered a baggy; no frills kind of style, but you can make it your own, just as many stars have already so perfectly demonstrated.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are two perfect examples. Ashley Olsen is known for her incredibly relaxed and oversized dresses. In one photo she’s paired a purple, floral dress with a black floppy hat. Also, you can’t have a complete bohemian ensemble without a nice pair of comfortable sandals. As for Ashley’s sister, Mary Kate was photographed with a pair of ripped flare blue jeans paired with a sixties style white and floral hippy top. Her purse adds some authentic feel to the outfit along with her beaded jewelry.
Paris Hilton and Hillary Duff have also been known to sport the bohemian look. Paris has been photographed wearing a boho style headband scarf with a soft flowing, brown dress. The outfit looks great on her because her dress is very simple, but has an intricate design along the top which gives it a very feminine look.
As for Hillary Duff, she uses bohemian touches to finish her outfits. For example, she was sporting some Minnetonka fringe boots and a Simeon Farrar scarf. She shows that you don’t have to wear this style from head to toe; you can simply add a little bohemian touch here and there. After all, the bohemian style is all about accessories.
If you’re not completely digging this style but you still want to be in the “now,” take my advice and try adding a scarf, headband, or a pair of relaxed, flair jeans to your wardrobe. Just as these celebrities have demonstrated, you can still be trendy without completely overhauling your wardrobe.
