The sun, the surf, California Girls on the boom box - you've planned the perfect beach party. Now send your guests home with party favors that will remind them of their fun in the sun.

Beach party favors don't have to be expensive. For as little as a couple of dollars each, you can put together a clever take-home gift for your party guests.

Beach Chair Picture Frames
DT Corner Favors has miniature Adirondack chair picture frames that are perfect for a beach party favor.

Mini Sand Pails Filled With Candy
For less than $1, you can purchase brightly colored miniature sand pails and fill them with candy.  Looking for beach theme candy? Bulk candy stores and online sources like CandyWarehouse.com has candy seashells. Or fill your buckets with salt water taffy, a Jersey Shore treat.

Flip-Flop Coasters
These coasters that look like your favorite pair of summer flip-flops come in bright colors. Hand them out to guests to use with their poolside cocktail and then let them take them home with them as party favors. Beau-coup.com has other nautical themed favors, too, including flip-flop candles, porcelain shell dishes, and silver shell bookmarks.

Paper Boats
Make paper sailboats using simple origami instructions for a boat and then attach a small nautical flag for a sail. The sail can be used as a place card - just use plain white, blank paper for the sail and write each guest's name on them.

Mini Beach Bags
Give each party guest a small see-through beach bag filled with a small bottle of sunscreen, plastic sunglasses, a kooky bathing cap and some sand toys.

Homemade Seashell Craft
Almost everyone has a bag of shells they picked up from a beach vacation and has them tucked away. Put them to use and make something with them for beach party favors. Get a simple candle-making kit and fill shells with wax to make homemade seashell candles. Or paint each shell with clear glitter paint and attach a magnet to the back for a take-home refrigerator magnet. For step-by-step directions on how to make a shell picture frame party favor, see Les Tout's Shell Picture Frame Party Favors.
