The perfect family reunion has everyone's favorite foods, fun games and activities for kids and adults, and a take-home favor or memento to mark the occasion. This year, take it upon yourself to bring something special for each family member at your reunion. Make something or buy a small, inexpensive token gift for each family member to remember the occasion. Family reunion favors should be for any age, since everyone from the littlest family member to the newlyweds, to the matriarch and patriarch of the clan will want one.

Matching Family T-shirts

Having custom-printed t-shirts with the family name and the year and location of the reunion takes some planning. You'll want to find out who will be attending the reunion and get size estimates. You may also want to let everyone know that you're providing t-shirts, so those attending can change into them at the reunion. Or hand them out at the end of the gathering and ask everyone to wear them next year.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks from Impressive Inscriptions are inscribed with the family name, the date and place of your reunion and this heartwarming quote:"The branches of our tree may grow in different directions, but our roots remain as one. Each of our lives will always be a special part of the other."

Custom Printed Gifts

Have small notepads, cocktail napkins or pens imprinted with the family name. A local print shop can custom make these items, or order online.

Family Tree Saplings

Giving a tree sapling to each family at the reunion is an idea from an eHow contributor.  Get small saplings from a greenhouse, one for each family attending your family reunion. Put a family tree chart together and print it onto heavy cardstock.  Attach a card to each sapling with a decorative ribbon. Hand them out to relatives at the reunion for them to take home and plant in their own yards.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Send your family home with something that will have them remembering the reunion at the holidays. Any hand-made ornament can have the family name and the year of the reunion painted or printed onto it.

FamilyPhotograph CDs

Are you the keeper of all the old family photographs? Share them with everyone in the family by scanning them, storing them digitally and handing out CDs to everyone at the reunion. Decorate the CD or make creative envelopes and labels.

Framed Photos

Take the group photo from last year's reunion and put it in a personalized frame and give one to each family member. Frame sources can custom-make frames with the family name or you can make your own buy purchasing simple plastic frames and decorating and personalizing it with a permanent marker.
