As a parent you have multiple responsibilities such as taking care of your child, keeping your home clean, working either at home or outside the home, paying the bills, etc. The latter, paying the bills, may be the thing that you put off to last thing to do on your to do list, but it's something that needs to be done. In addition to paying the bills and dealing with raising gas prices, most families try to stick to a budget. One thing that can help out with this task is using coupons.
There a variety of coupons that you can use to save money when you go grocery shopping, eating out, get your hair cut, etc. These coupons can be obtained through your Sunday newspaper, coupon booklets (sold by students for fundraisers), daily mail, or the internet. If you do not have a newspaper and are unable to have a daily newspaper delivered to you, you have two options: purchase the newspaper on Sundays and the day of the week that grocery ads come out or go to a gas station that provides a free newspaper if you spend a certain amount on gas.
If you have internet and a working printer (can either have black or colored ink), you can visit the following sites to obtain coupons that are printable and usable:
- Couponbug
- Target
- Valpak
- Walgreens
- Coupons.com
- Couponchief
- CoolSavings
- Smartsource
- Grocerycoupons.net
- Couponmom
- couponing.about.com
This list is just a starting point, but it you go to any internet search engine (i.e. Google, Yahoo, etc.). Coupons are a great tool to use to help you and your family stay in budget. It just takes a little time to locate and clip the coupons that will apply to your family's needs.
