Every Halloween children enjoy finding the perfect costume.  This perfect Halloween costume can either be purchased at their local retail store or they can make them at home (with their parents' assistance).  For those that choose to make their own Halloween costume, there are so many homemade Halloween costumes to choose from.  Many costumes can be made with things that you already have at home. 

Halloween Costume Supplies
Before your child and you make your final decision on which type of Halloween costume to make, it is important to consider how much you are willing to spend as well as which supplies you have to make it.  Listed below are some basic supplies that you may need to have in order to make your child's Halloween costume:

  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Felt
  • Fabric (i.e. old sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc.)
  • Measuring tape
