If you have two or more children, it may be a struggle to make sure that everyone has the needed clothing.  Children outgrow their clothes quickly and to purchase new clothes every time can be costly.  When you have a family of four or more, using hand-me-downs within your family or from family friends is a way to give your children "new" clothes without the cost.  The only down fall with this is that each child has a different set of likes and dislikes.  There are ways to take these hand-me-downs and rejuvenate them to meet your child's approval with little cost.

Clothing Makeover Kit
If you and your child would like to make some changes to the received hand-me-downs, you will need some items to help you achieve this.  Listed below are some of the items you may need.

  • Iron
  • Fabric Glue
  • Sewing Needle
  • Sewing Thread
  • Tie-dye
  • Iron-on materials (patches, designs, etc.)
