For centuries, crystals have been used as helpful spiritual and healing tools. The energy within each particular crystal is unique in that it can tune in and assist us in balancing and healing our own physical, emotional and spiritual energies. So it makes sense that the vital energy within crystals can be a valuable tool in your office or your business. Different crystals have different strengths and qualities; this article will tell you about certain crystals that are particularly suitable for your office or business and how to cleanse and charge your crystal in order to keep the energies within them going strong.
Heliotrope (also known as Bloodstone)- Symbolizes wealth and prosperity. It also helps with dedication and determination, and aids in overcoming obstacles.
Fluorite- Can promote a pleasant and positive flow of energy.
Amethyst- Has the ability to absorb negative energy and promote peace. Amethyst also offers good protection against hostility. Keep a piece of amethyst in your pocket or worn as a pendant if you’re expecting to take part in a heated meeting or stressful interview.
Smoky Quartz- This crystal is known as an emotional balancer and, like amethyst, it is very helpful in absorbing negative energy. Keep smoky quartz on hand in your work place to help things stay calm and positive.
Garnet- Strengthens emotional and physical energy. This grounding crystal promotes better decision making by helping you to stay more grounded.
Jade- Offers encouragement in service and giving. Jade helps to heal and open the heart by freeing a person from anger and selfishness. Jade has also been long associated with luck, prosperity and business success.
Malachite- Not only does malachite release negative and painful emotions, it can also help to promote wealth in business.
It is very important to cleanse and charge your crystals on a regular basis, preferably at least every month. Cleansing clears out any negative energy that builds up within the crystal (sometimes the crystal will look dull when there's a lot of negative energy in it) and charging revitalizes the natural energies and properties within the crystal.
Cleansing and charging can be a one step process and one of the simplest methods is to rinse them under cold running water. Crystals can sometimes chip or scratch easily if rubbed together, so only cleanse one crystal at a time this way.
The light from the moon is another good way to cleanse and charge crystals. Place your crystal or crystals on a windowsill or other flat surface where they will receive the strongest light from the moon at night. The light from a full moon is one of the best times to recharge and clear your crystal. Do this either overnight or until the crystals feel more vibrant to you. Just be sure to move them away from sunlight during the day because sunlight, especially direct sunlight, can dull and possibly damage crystals over time.
Smudging with sage is another way to cleanse crystals. Either pass the individual crystal through the smoke of the smudge stick or, if you want to cleanse and purify more than one crystal, lay the crystals on a surface and gently waft the smoke over the crystals with a large feather or with a paper fan.
