How to Raise Your Level of Vibration

Everything in our world is made of energy, with all forms of energy vibrating at different speeds, or frequencies. For example, a wooden desk will vibrate at a low frequency, while a ray of light vibrates at a much higher frequency. We humans vibrate at different levels of frequency too, depending upon our thoughts, emotions and level of higher consciousness. By raising your level of vibration, you raise your level of consciousness. This helps you be in better touch with your Higher Self and the messages your higher wisdom is sending to you. It also helps you view life from a more calm, centered perspective, rather than getting caught up in fears or judgments.

The benefits of raising your level of vibration also include:

  • An increased sense of joy
  • A greater sense of unity with all of life
  • Better communication with your spirit guides or angels
  • A greater capacity for pure and truthful love

Ways to Raise your Level of Vibration

Meditate on a regular basis. This quiets your mind, which allows the wisdom of God, Higher Self, the Universe, etc., to be able to reach you more easily. Spend some time in meditation each day, even if it’s only for five or ten minutes. Use whichever meditation technique, or techniques, that work best for you.

Purify your body by eating healthy foods. A poor diet that includes too many refined or fatty foods lowers your vibrational energy. Include fresh vegetables and fruit, nuts, seeds, legumes and whole grains. If possible, look for certified organic foods. Be sure to drink plenty of water too. Purifying your body also means staying active, so try to get some form of exercise each day.

Practice compassion and forgiveness. Holding on to anger and resentments can be a drain on your energy and end up making you function at a lower vibrational level. The same applies if you become critical of yourself or others. Learn to let go of your anger, forgive yourself and others of shortcomings, and let love flow freely into your heart.

Learn to let go of fear. Although fear is not a bad thing, too much of it can pull you down and make you feel disconnected from your spirit. Take note of what is motivating your fears and learn to face them in a positive and compassionate way. Learn to step out of the role of victim and become the empowered being you’re meant to be.

Practice Gratitude. Take note of the positives in your life and why it is you are thankful for these things. Be thankful for the gifts in your life, no matter how small they may seem.

Take part in energy work, which are techniques that influence your subtle energy in a positive way. This can include such things as Reiki, acupuncture, yoga or t’ai chi.

Some other ways to raise your energy vibration include singing, listening to uplifting music, prayer, being out nature, putting lit candles in your room and doing something creative.

Keep these techniques in mind whenever you feel the need to raise your personal level of vibration.
