Each one of us is surrounded by a field of electromagnetic energy called an aura, which runs throughout our bodies and spreads out to varying degrees of density around us. The aura serves as a filter, a protective buffer zone and a valuable gauge for spiritual, emotional and physical health. Auras contain a variety of different colors and these colors change constantly depending on a person’s moods, health and their connection with their inner spirit. All of these colors have different meanings attached to them, however since these colors often show up in a wide variety of tones or shades the meaning is not as cut and dried as some people may believe. A person with a lot of clairvoyant experience will be able to see the subtle variations of color in a person’s aura and interpret their meaning. But even if you aren’t an experienced clairvoyant, with a lot of practice and inner focus you can learn to get a good idea of what your own aura is telling you.
Sometimes you may only get brief glimpses of this energy. Even if you don’t see anything at all, don’t give up; just try it again at another time.
As mentioned earlier, the meanings of the colors are not cut and dried, but this list will give you a rough idea of what the various colors mean.
-
Gold- Freedom, integrity and high spiritual vibration
-
Clear White- Very high spiritual vibration, godly
-
Cloudy White- A lack of consciousness, denial
-
Black- Depression, issues with death, lack of forgiveness for self or others
-
Pink- Modesty, gentleness, feminine energy, self-love
-
Red- Vitality, determination, pain
-
Cloudy Red- Rage, anger or violent tendencies
-

-

- Brown- Unsettled, selfish, practical, grounded
As you can see, many of these colors have meanings that are often polar opposites, but that’s where the subtle variations of the colors and the interpretations of those colors come into play. It’s also very important to note that a person’s aura can pick up the energy of another person’s aura so this can, at times, affect how you will view your own aura.
Meditation can assist you in being more tuned in to your aura and sensitive to the subtle messages it is sending out. Deep breathing, creative visualization or opening the third eye chakra are a few meditation techniques that can assist you with the reception and interpretation of your aura and even the auras of others.
