Our bodies emanate a field of energy known as an aura. This energy field reflects the subtle energies within the body and spirit, as well as serving as a protective buffer. During the course of our daily lives we can encounter difficult people or situations that may negatively impact our auras. But there are techniques that can help you keep your aura protected and better able to stave off these negative influences.
Visualization
Sit comfortably in a quiet place where you will be free from interruptions. Take some deep, cleansing breaths and let your body relax.
Now imagine yourself surrounded by a bubble of white, shimmering light. Feel the warmth and gentle energy of this light as it covers your body from head to foot. See it as an impenetrable bubble that will guard and protect you. If you wish, you can also call upon your animal totems or spirit guides to add their protection.
Practice this technique on a regular basis. Soon you'll find that you can call up this bubble of light whenever you feel the need.
Etheric Shower
This technique helps clean and sweep away the energy debris that your aura can pick up. Again, sit comfortably and take some time to ground yourself. Close your eyes and envision yourself inside a large whirlwind of colorful light that is spinning in a clockwise direction. You can choose one specific color or let it be a rainbow of color.
Visualize the whirlwind moving slowly around you, working its way from the top of your head down toward your feet. Take your time with this and see the light sweeping away any debris that may be clinging to your aura. Watch it go into the ground at your feet, carrying away the energy debris, where it will be dispersed into the earth.
