If you are looking for a way to kick start your diet or fitness plan why not try a weight loss camp or retreat. Spend a week or two learning how to eat healthy and get into a fitness routine that is custom designed for you. There are different types of camps from all inclusive resorts to early morning “boot camps” that help you get started on a fitness and lifestyle program.

Many camps combine weight loss, yoga and fitness with spa treatments to help you get you started on your fitness and lifestyle goals. Personal trainers will customize a program to meet your needs and help you get into a routine that you can continue when you return home.

By spending some time at a retreat you will obtain the motivation that you need to get started. An added bonus could be weight loss and toning that you will motivate you to continue. Retreats are often held in relaxing scenic locations and offer superb cuisine and luxurious surrounding. You will not only achieve your weight loss or fitness goals but enjoy pampering at the same time.

Boot camps are a quick start method designed to get your fitness program up and running while burning calories at a high rate. Most programs recommend lifestyle changes that will make you healthier, help you loose weight and get into shape. Seeing results happen in a short period of time is often enough to motivate even the most reluctant procrastinator. Boot camp is usually an hour a day, 3 -5 days per week, lasts four to six weeks and is suitable for people of all fitness levels.

Finding a retreat to suit your needs and budget does not need to be hard. Search the internet for spas or retreats in your preferred location. It can be in an exotic destination such as Hawaii or even in your home town. Most cites have boot camp programs that get help you get started right away. Determine you fitness level and goals for the retreat before you sign up. Ask what is included in the price (meals, personal trainer, etc) and what is extra. Some programs are all inclusive while others are al a carte.
