Many of the travel clubs and agencies that offer all female getaways also offer a matching service that helps eliminate the single supplement. They connect like minded women travelers in small groups and offer all varieties of travel experiences including adventure travel, cultural experiences and culinary or art participation trips. Statistics from the Women Traveling Together website say that the majority of women that travel with them are single (including divorced or widowed), between the ages of 35 and 65 and are traveling alone.
It makes sense to join a group that focuses on women and their needs, especially if you are traveling alone.
