Not everyone wants to read fiction. There are great biographies, history books and more!

Post your favorite non-fiction book recommendation title and why you think this is a must-read!

my recommendation

I just read "The Audacity of Hope" by Barack Obama and think that it's a terrific book. It's just practical, every-day words of wisdom that can be applied by everyone. I think that Obama's writing is fresh, honest and at times very humorous.

Devil in the White City

I read Devil in the White City some years ago, and just bought Erik Larson's newest book, Thunderstruck. If you like non-fiction that's written like a story, you'll love Erik Larson's books. Devil in the White City is a fascinating look at Chicago during the time of the World's Fair there.
