Can anyone recommend a good computer mouse?

Hey guys, can anyone recommend a really good mouse? It doesn't have to be wireless, but it needs a scroll button. I've just come back from the computer store and some of the mice are so big and clunky! I've got what I think is the start of carpal tunnel and need something that isn't really hard to use but is fairly natural shaped. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ergonomic Mice

If you have full blown carpal tunnel one of the first things that pops to mind is to use a trackball style mouse. They are kind of like a normal mouse only you hand rests on top and you move the track ball with your thumb. There are many different options for ergonomic mice other than trackballs though. Take a look at: http://www.enablemart.com/Catalog/Ergonomic-Mice to get some additional ideas.

bean bags can help

Besides getting a comfortable mouse, I find that a wrist-rest, either built into the mousepad or a separate bean-bag helps keep the wrist at the right angle. I keep another wrist-rest along my keyboard.
