Can a person have too much yeast in their body?

I'm wondering if you have any information or an opinion on the idea that a person can have too much yeast in their body? (Not a yeast infection) Is there anything to the candida cleanses (gosh, not sure if I'm even saying that right) that you hear about?

You can have too much yeast

Yes, many people have too much yeast.

Take a look at http://www.annboroch.com/candida.htm She does an excellent job of describing the problem and treatment.

About the cleansing programs for candida that are sold in stores--These can't hurt but I doubt that they will cure the problem because they mostly deal with the candida in the large intestine. Candida can involve the whole body.

I think a person with candida needs to consult a competent holistic professional. I wouldn't trust any doctor who wanted to treat the problem only with pharmaceuticals.

Generally, the problem with yeast is that the diet isn't well-matched to your needs. You could look at my article on the Eat Right 4 Your Type diet. If you have too much yeast there's probably something in your diet that's not working well for you.

It may just be too much sugar in the diet; that'll certainly do it.

Interesting. I've heard about this. Thanks for the link to that site. I love how I was just randomly looking through the forums and found this discussion. Very interesting.

Good resources

What it is? Candida Albicans (Yeast) Infection, both digestive and systemic, is a social and medical dilemma without easy access to answers or remedies of permanence. Literally millions of men and women have a potential yeast infection that is causing, directly or indirectly, a significant number of existing health problems or conditions.

Great topic, Dr. Ron. I read your articles all the time! So basically too much yeast in the body can be managed? Are there other signs that a person should look out for? I often wonder if I'm eating too much gluten or have a sensitivity, because my joints will tighten if I eat too much gluten. I also wonder if this is due to yeast as well. Gosh, the things we learn....

Treatments and Clinics

I wanted to tell everyone about this wonderful clinic my husband and I found near Baja California. It is called the Hope4Cancer institute.

After touring numerous facilities we found this to be the best.

They offer a whole host of state of the art treatments for all types of illnesses including cancers with very good results. I have spoken to many cancer survivors at this clinic while my husband was being treated there. He is currently recovering from leukemia.

They have helped so many people recover from numerous conditions. This faculty is run by doctors and staff that are loving, kind and compassionate. They will take exceptional care of you here. You can even walk on the beautiful beach just across the road from the clinic.

They provide gourmet vegetarian meals, fresh juices and are staffed around the clock. It is more like being in a loving home than being in a clinic.

Here you can find real help and real hope. I guess that’s why they call it Hope4Cancer!

Best wishes to everyone dealing with life threatening and life altering conditions.

Yeast and Gluten

I haven't heard anything about yeast and gluten but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a connection. Most people should avoid gluten. You might want to read some of the articles on LesTout about inflammation. It is an underlying problem that creates many diseases, most notably arthritis and heart disease. One article is here -- http://www.lestout.com/article/health-beauty-fitness/natural-health-wellness/arthritis_immune_response.html

I wrote another on inflammatory breast cancer. You could search that phrase.
