I've been studying Fibromyalgia for a few years since some friends are suffering with it. To me, the symptoms of Fibromyalgia seem to be the symptoms of systemic poisoning. I think it would be interesting to do an experiment--for our readers who suffer from fibromyalgia to limit their exposure to all forms of plastics for a month to see if their symptoms change. This would involve using only steel and glass eating and cooking utensils, no styrofoam cups, wearing only natural clothing, and avoiding new cars, new carpets, or any other new plastics that give off that "new car" smell which is actually volatile plastic ingredients like phthalates wafting into the air. Women would have to use safe cosmetics rather than the usually drug-store varieties. See http://www.safecosmetics.org/ for lists of safe cosmetic manufacturers. Do we have a few fibro sufferers out there who are willing to experiment and tell us through comments in this discussion forum how they're doing?
