It really alarming... not only does this affect business, tourism, and even politics in the country it makes the Filipino image suffer....

Why?

Why does the government make negotiations? they have to act fast rather than drag the whole situation longer.

^I could not agree more...

The government is saying that they will not pay any ransoms, so not much communication is needed when the abductors refuse to cooperate... They have to act fast and end it swiftly...

so far the abductors have released one of the hostages.. but looking at the situation some behind the curtains negotiations were made for the release which makes the government look real silly...
