Got a great bargain find? A tip you can't help but tell other travelers about? Post it here and let's share our best travel tips and finds!
I have one to pass along! I traveled for 4 months through europe with one tube of bio-suds. It's about the size of a tube of toothpaste and you squeeze a little out and you can do your laundry. I washed my clothes in the sink (yes I was backpacking) and they weren't stiff or itchy or anything. One tube does 20 loads of laundry. I really really recommend any traveler get a tube!
This one is a little obvious, but if you're like me, you often forget things in hotel rooms.
When traveling in the UK, I had an electric converter that I plugged into the wall at the hotel. They are so easy to forget, in an electrical outlet out of the way.
Converters often are sold with small cloth bags. When you pack for a trip, put your converter in that bag or another small bag. When you arrive at your hotel room and plug in your converter, put the bag in your suitcase. When you're leaving a hotel and starting to pack, you'll see the bag and be reminded to unplug your converter and pack it.
Same for chargers for cell phones, etc.
