Profile of  shivaji

Founder of Anblik

Anblik had at his hold something, most big corporate executives can only dream about: A note book on which to plan his information technology strategy.

Shivaji is a founder of anblik.com, an online web design company. He spent a bad patch when he launched his service in Feb 2003, a discipline that's kept him in the game while more free-spending rivals have struggled.

"We chose a path to reliability, and not a path to profitability" says Shivaji.

The company he created after spending in IT industry for 14 years, got Visa to work in US but dot com fall down, forced him to do something from his home as a freelancers and where he get success and counted as top most freelancers in world not only for his B2B and B2C knowledge but due to his excellent visualizing capabilities. He spent 17-18 hours a day working and finally most of his ex-colleagues joined him to help him out.

"I Know shivaji as a very honest, hard working and staright forward person and doesent hesitate to talk something even to his client if he found something wrong, and beleive me they love it" - Say one Anblik Sr. Developer.

Anblik's success is a reminder that big companies can still take some lessons from small onesóin this case, how to prepare for growth without overspending on computers and software. "We were held back by freelancing image of the past" that reflects its initial thrust of finding freelancers from us rather than full-time company, said Shivaji. "Initially we had massively used Open Source Softwares to quickly give solutions to our clients and for our own needs. We contributed many modules to open source community and people started knowing us, though the image doing that was not very good, but we slowly shifted to in-house solutions".

When Anblik opened its doors, it had two employees and two freelancers. "Before we take credit for not spending money, I have to say, we never had money," says Shivaji. "The freelancers image has held us back more than helped us." Following the official switch to Anblik.com, Shivaji's team of eight will add a local employee from India and few in USA to accommodate the growing demand for outsourcing services that originate in India.

That market is exploding, Shivaji said, nothing that part of its business has grown from virtually nil to big. He expects it will grow in a much bigger way within next 1 years.

So you want a facelift for your website?

We believe, appearance is not the most important issue. Its accessibility , usability & search engine visibility, ie, creating search engine friendly accessible web design following W3Cs WAI web standards guidelines.

As a web design company, it always fun for our web designers to design new graphics, change the website design using CSS, put validated html, xhtml and css elements, but we consider doing a couple of other things like, making web pages on the Internet fully accessible and usable to all users, especially those with disabilities, speed up your website, make it easy for prospective customers to find what they are looking for, make your web design easy to navigate. As a web design company we considered the provision of clean, crisp information & interactive accessible design, its content & theme, in order to ensure that your site has the look and feel you desire, without sacrificing the accessibility and usability that will keep every visitors (include disable users) at your website, read your sales materials and buy from you.
