The Web Standards compliance button is for webmaster, web designers and developers who are interested in Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, XSLT etc.) and best practices (accessible sites using valid and semantically correct code). W3C along with other groups and standards bodies, has established technologies for creating and interpreting web-based content. These technologies, which we call Web Standards, are carefully designed to deliver the greatest benefits to the greatest number of web users while ensuring the long-term viability of any document published on the Web.
The W3C and other Logo provides the organization with its visual identity. As a result, there are strict rules for its use. Following are the Web Standards that are followed by LestOut. As a member, you can add the logo button to your website to show your comittment to Web Standards.
Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict!

The Markup Validator is a free service by
W3C that helps check the validity of Web documents. Most Web documents are written using markup languages, such as
HTML or
XHTML. The act of checking a document against these constraints is called validation, and this is what the Markup Validator does.
Valid CSS!

The
W3C CSS Validation Service is a free software created by the
W3C to help Web designers and Web developers check
CSS. Most documents on the Web are written in a computer language called
HTML. For color, text, and layout,
HTML uses a styling language called
CSS, This tool help people authoring
CSS check, and if necessary, their
CSS Style Sheets.
Level Triple-A conformance icon, W3C-WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

Pages bearing this logo indicate a claim of conformance by the page author or content provider to conformance level Triple-A of the
W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, including all Priority 1, Priority 2, and Priority 3 checkpoints defined in the Guidelines. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance to these Guidelines will help make the Web more accessible to users with disabilities and will benefit all users.

Support Netscape Browser

Netscape 8.0 warns you if you come across possible spyware sites, and automatically configures its settings to help protect you. Tabbed browsing has been expanded so you can open all of your favorite web sites in one window automatically. This is a validator for syndicated feeds. Despite its relatively simple nature,
RSS is poorly implemented by many tools. This validator is an attempt to codify the specification (literally, to translate it into code) to make it easier to know when you're producing
